The Foundation was founded in 1980 by Edmond Kaiser. Its main goal is to search for, locate and provide immediate assistance to deeply wounded men, women and children. Medium or long-term support. One person at a time.
Sentinelles is active in 5 African countries, in Colombia and Switzerland, running support programmes for people whose suffering is often ignored. The programmes are supported by public donations.
Sentinelles cares for children suffering from noma in Niger and Burkina Faso.
